The Iron Ember – Rock Bar Website

UX/UI Design · Website Creation · Entertainment & Nightlife

The Iron Ember, a rock-themed bar known for its electrifying live performances and edgy atmosphere, to design a dynamic and immersive website. Our goal was to capture the bar’s rebellious spirit while providing users with an intuitive way to explore events, browse the menu, and book their next night out. The result is a bold, user-centric site that embodies the raw energy of rock and roll.

We conducted usability testing to ensure The Iron Ember’s website delivered an engaging yet user-friendly experience. Our focus was on understanding how both first-time visitors and regular patrons interacted with the site. Participants were asked to explore the site, view the menu, check upcoming events, and make a reservation.

Usability Tests

Navigation Confusion: Users struggled to identify where live events were located, indicating a need for clearer menu labels or icons.

Overwhelming Menu Display: The menu section felt cluttered, leading to user frustration and rapid scrolling. This suggests a need for a categorized menu or a filter option.

Hidden Booking Options: The booking interface was not immediately clear, with users struggling to locate available time slots, highlighting the need for a more intuitive booking layout.

Key Findings

User Flow Optimization

In designing the user flow for The Iron Ember, our focus was on creating a seamless and intuitive journey for users booking a table for live events. We aimed to minimize confusion, reduce steps, and ensure clarity in navigation. By mapping out the user journey from homepage to confirmation, we identified key interaction points and optimized them for a smoother experience. This approach allowed us to create a flow that guides users effortlessly, improving both their experience and the bar’s booking efficiency.
